  • Do not put tree lights and ornaments on lower branches for those kittens, puppies and mature furbabies that may get themselves into trouble.
  • You should train your dog or cat to keep away from all the holiday decorations and electrical wires that will look like an inviting toy to them.
  • Poinsettia plants, mistletoe and holly are all poisonous to dogs and  cats. Keep them all our of you pets reach.
  • Never leave lit candles or a lit fireplace unattended with your pet in the same room.  Swaying wagging tails can catch fire.

  • Keep people food away from pets like table scraps, turkey skin, grapes yeast dough, onions, seasoning and etc.  All can be toxic and potentially a risk for developing pancreatitis, dangerous bloating, painful gas and difficult to digest
  • Make sure your pets have a safe area, maybe a confined room that is off limits to people when hosting out of town guest or a party with people coming and going.  Your pet may wander outside and become lost.
